The Gregorian Schola of Sydney is a non-profit organization which seeks to contribute to the spiritual and cultural life in this city and its wider environs by preserving in practical form the ancient sung prayer ascribed to Pope St Gregory I.
The group is
made up of an enthusiastic body of men and women who offer the people of Sydney the opportunity to sing and pray Gregorian Chant together, and provide an outlet for research of the primary sources of Christian liturgical music in an atmosphere of fellowship with others.
The Gregorian Schola of Sydney is a corporate member of the NSW branch of the Royal School of Church Music (see www.rscmnsw.org.au). therefore each singer in the schola receives an electronic copy of the RSCM journal.
